Dr. John E. Lindsey, Jr. is a board-certified anesthesiologist and is one of the founding members of Orthopedic Anesthesia Specialists, LLC. He graduated from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences School of Medicine and completed his residency at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland with a Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesiology from the Johns Hopkins Hospital.  Dr. Lindsey served with the US Navy at Bethesda, Maryland; Naples, Italy; Jacksonville, Florida; and Kandahar, Afghanistan. His roles in the Navy included Chief of Surgical Services, Quality Assurance Physician Advisor, Anesthesiology Department Head and Chairman of Operative and Invasive Procedures Quality Management Board.  He has also volunteered his time with seven surgical mission trips to the Philippines and Ecuador. Prior to moving to Omaha for the startup of OrthoNebraska, Dr. Lindsey was in private practice as a Cardiac Anesthesiologist at the Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida.

Dr. Lindsey is  a retired Commander in the Medical Corps for the United States Navy.
