Patient and Visitor Screening

Last updated June 20, 2022 at 5 PM

Oakview Campus Patient & Visitor Screening

All patients and visitors will be screened by an OrthoNebraska team member at access desks. Screenings include temperature checks, proper mask utilization, and the following questions:

  • Have you been advised to self-quarantine because of exposure to someone with COVID-19?
  • Did you have close contact with a person under investigation for COVID-19 within the last 14 days?
  • Did you have a fever, consistent cough, loss of taste/smell, sore throat, and/or shortness of breath?

There is no restriction on travel.

Social distancing reminders will be located throughout the clinic. This includes floor decals to designate appropriate distances, as well as banners and chair signs. In addition, chairs have been spaced to the best of our ability.

Visitors

In an abundance of caution, OrthoNebraska continues to limit visitors, though these restrictions have been eased somewhat.

Hospital

Two visitors will be allowed per patient after they have been assigned a room on the second floor of OrthoNebraska Hospital. This individual will be screened upon entry, must wear a mask at all times, and cannot leave the patient’s room. Visiting hours are limited to 7:00AM-8:30 PM.

One healthy, designated visitor may accompany an Emergency patient; however, they must complete on-site screening and wear a mask at all times.

Clinic

No current restrictions.

We understand there may be circumstances that require exceptions to our visitor policy.
